As well as having the right tea ware at your disposal, to make the perfect cup of hot tea or a refreshing glass of iced tea, you need to know how long to steep, brew, or infuse your tea of choice. Not all teas require the same water temperature, quantity of leaves or buds, or steep/infusion time. Use the guide below to achieve your own perfect Clari-Tea.
- To make iced tea, follow the steeping guidelines for iced tea and then dilute with ice.
- When combining teas, follow the guidelines for the tea in your blend with the lowest temperature and steeping time.
- For teas marked with a ° add extra tea, not extra steeping time, if you wish a stronger flavor.
- Certain teas will turn bitter if brewed for too long.
